This Privacy Policy explains how AR TECH collects, uses, stores, and protects information related to our website and the AR TECH Work Log application.

AR TECH operates aromerotech.com and the AR TECH Work Log application. The Work Log application helps authorized business users record work sessions, manage client work history, generate summaries, and, when connected by an authorized user, create draft invoices in QuickBooks Online.

2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as user name, role, login status, and authentication settings.
- Work log information, such as client name, date, start time, end time, work type, labor descriptions, parts or materials descriptions, rates, totals, and notes entered by authorized users.
- Client and billing-related information entered into the Work Log application for business recordkeeping and invoice preparation.
- QuickBooks Online connection information, such as authorization tokens, company/realm identifiers, token expiration dates, and related connection status information.
- Technical information, such as request metadata, timestamps, error logs, and security-related events used to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the application.
- Website contact information, if you choose to submit a contact form or communicate with us by email.
3. QuickBooks Online data
If an authorized user connects the Work Log application to QuickBooks Online, the application may access limited QuickBooks Online data needed to support the requested integration. This may include company identifiers, item information needed to create invoice line items, customer information needed for invoice creation, and invoice-related data submitted through the Work Log application.
The application is designed to use QuickBooks Online access only for authorized business purposes, including connection management, token refresh, item lookup, and creation of draft invoices requested by authorized users. We do not sell QuickBooks Online data.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Work Log application.
- Authenticate users and enforce account permissions.
- Save work entries, client records, parts/materials, rates, totals, and work history.
- Generate work summaries, exports, and draft invoice data.
- Connect to QuickBooks Online when authorized and perform requested invoice-related actions.
- Provide support, troubleshoot issues, monitor security, and prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond to messages submitted through aromerotech.com.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information or QuickBooks Online data. We may share information only in the following limited situations:
- With service providers that help us host, store, secure, email, or operate the application.
- With QuickBooks Online/Intuit when an authorized user connects the application and requests QuickBooks-related actions.
- With authorized users within the business account according to their role and permissions.
- When required to comply with law, legal process, security obligations, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of AR TECH, users, or others.
6. Data storage and security
Work Log data is stored using cloud infrastructure and database services selected by AR TECH. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials, two-factor authentication access, and authorized devices secure.
7. Data retention
We retain account, work log, client, invoice-preparation, and QuickBooks connection information for as long as needed to provide the application, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate operational needs. Authorized administrators may request deletion or disconnection where applicable.
8. Your choices
Authorized users may request access, correction, export, disconnection, or deletion of applicable information by contacting AR TECH. Some information may need to be retained for business records, security, legal compliance, troubleshooting, or audit purposes.
Users may disconnect QuickBooks Online from the Work Log application through the available disconnect function or by contacting us.
9. Cookies and authentication
The Work Log application may use cookies or similar browser storage for authentication, session management, security, and application functionality. These cookies are necessary for authorized access to protected Work Log features.
10. Children’s privacy
The Work Log application is intended for business use by authorized users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Work Log application.
11. Third-party services
The application may integrate with third-party services such as QuickBooks Online, hosting providers, database providers, and email providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or Work Log application after changes are posted means the updated policy applies going forward.
